All this Top Affiliate Challenge stuff have got my juices flowing about maybe doing some CPA affiliate marketing again. You may remember that the last time I attempted this I bummed out quite badly, losing a good chunk of Pay-Per-Click change to the likes of Adwords and FaceBook. Well time is a great healer isn’t it so I feel it’s about time I wasted used some more of my money to try and get a decent CPA offer going.

The one thing that stood out during the TAC was how Jonathan Van Clute managed to be able to match his boasts of cheap targeted traffic to earnings. Got to admit I was sceptical at first, but just seeing the affect his knowledge sharing had on the other contestants earnings was a real eye opener. I think this has to be the key to CPA marketing, to get enough eye balls in front of your offer for as little as possible. Unless you are lucky (Vegas proved I’m not), PPC with Adwords whilst giving you targeted traffic very rarely gives you cheap targeted traffic. So the big question is, where does Jonathan Van Clute get his traffic from? There did appear to be a lot of hints during the program, talk of pop-under, pop-over traffic sources that are targeted. A little bit of research also shows that he’s certainly no huge fan of PPC and much prefers to use pay-per-impression traffic. But where from? Where do you find targeted sources of cheap PPM traffic? I’ve tried several sources in the past but it almost always turns out to be junk traffic from somebody who has either been paid to click or is a bot. What I need is cheap keyword targeted traffic that you can buy per impression.

If anybody has any clues I’d like to know? I reckon that from what I’ve done in the past I see pretty decent conversion rates from the traffic I get, I’ve just very rarely found any ways of buying in that traffic cheap enough to make a profit on it (other than getting lucky with the odd PPC Adwords campaign). So if anybody knows where Jonathan Van Clute is buying his traffic from and would like to share please feel free to drop me a line, I’m sure we can come to some arrangement :)
