The GoogleLady Guide To Getting Started With Adwords

December 18th, 2007 0 Comments

One of the best ways of making large amounts of money online is to harness the power of pay-per-click with affiliate deals. When it comes to PPC networks the daddy is Adwords from Google, the trouble is if you have no experience in this type of marketing where do you start? Well you could do a lot worse than popping over to www.googlelady.com and downloading her new FREE Adwords e-book “The Adwords Quality Guide“. I’ve spent significant amounts of money on e-books that have proved to contain a lot less information than what you are getting here for free. Covering topics including:-

Getting Started With Adwords
The Benefits Of Using All Match Types
49 Killer Adwords Tips
The Ultimate Google Adwords Landing Pages Guide

plus much more this is a really great guide for novice & intermediate Adwords users. The real advantage to using Adwords over organic search results is the speed at which you can test new ideas. In 1 or 2 days you can discover what keywords are working (i.e. that generate profit) so that you can then put all your SEO efforts into optimizing for those words. To see the same results with organic search you may be talking months rather than days. The big downside is that if you don’t know what you’re doing it is possible to loose quite large amounts of money in no time at all. The good news is if you download and read thoroughly The Adwords Quality Guide you’ll be in a great position to take full advantage of what Adwords can offer us.

Waterhouse Report Review

October 18th, 2007 1 Comments

So is the Waterhouse Report worth the money then? In my opinion, no, certainly not if you’re already making money! There we go, quickest review ever!

The Waterhouse Report is marketed as the greatest review of “Work from Home”, “Make Money From Home” and “Online businesses” to date. In fact the claim is that – After testing 384 “Work from Home”, “Make Money From Home” and “Online Businesses”, the simplest one creates a monthly income stream of $5,685.12 and requires less than 1 hour per day and in the Waterhouse Report the author is going to tell you which one to follow. Well I wanted an extra $5,685.12 a month for less than 1 hour a days work so I went ahead and bought it. I spent my money on this more than a year ago and in that time I’ve read it several times, mainly for comedy value, I can hand on heart say that by following the advice in the report I am not earning $5,685.12 a month from an hour a days work. Then again I found it very hard to follow all the advice in this report because it was constantly pointing me in the direction of other paid products and having paid for this report and so little content I didn’t really feel like spending more money.

So what you actually get for your money here is a 34 page PDF file that seems to meander from general motivational talk to how to invest money to eventually some completely un-biased (hmmm) reviews of a few products and services that are gonna make you rich, rich I tell ya! The first thing I noticed was that there was no contents section, then again at only 34 pages long why bother? The actual bulk of the report is taken up with how to go from nothing to being rich and covers such areas as selling things on e-bay all the way up to purchasing shares, all covered in such an amazing lack of detail but yet managing to recommend that you pay for a course or product to help fill in the blanks. The only reviews featured are for those products that he highly recommends you pay for and again the amazing lack of detail in each review is startling.

Overall this entire report seems geared towards pushing you onto other much more expensive courses and products. As somebody who had extensive knowledge of how to make a dollar or two online before reading this I found it useless. However, what I would say is this, if you’re completely new to the world of online money, don’t know where to start and have a bit of money to throw at something then perhaps reading the Waterhouse Report and following up on some of the courses might not be the worst idea in the world. If on the other hand you’re doing OK then the Waterhouse Report is not going to bring you into that next level.

Selling E-Products The Easy Way

October 2nd, 2007 0 Comments

It’s a big step to go from giving things away for free to selling an e-product. It doesn’t matter if it’s an e-book, software package, MP3 or anything in between, the moment you start wanting payment your life becomes just that little bit more complicated. When it comes to getting paid there are various providers who can help, PayPal and Google Checkout being two of the biggest. However this is not even half the battle.

The main problem with selling an e-product is securing your product against people like Big Cock Marketing who will happily use Google to search for products. It’s ok uploading to your website but as soon as Google trawls a link to your product then people can get it for free. When I first made this step I spent a good couple of weeks making my own custom product delivery platform. Once it was secure I then had to spend another week integrating it with my payment platform at the time which happened to be Paypal.

As I’ve mentioned previously I was an exclusive member of the Rich Jerks club, in my opinion it was a complete waste of money but 1 good think did come from it. Buried deep in the forum was mention of a service called e-junkie. It was how some of the members were delivering e-books so I checked it out. It gets my highly recommended seal of approval, for only $5 a month you can sell up to 10 different products with no additional fees. They will host your files for download, manage the whole transaction (including integration with Paypal, Google, TrialPay and many others), limited downloads and even deliver product license keys if needs be. I’ve now gone away from my custom solution and use e-junkie for all my product delivery.

If you’ve ever thought about selling e-products but have been put off by the logistics of actually getting your product to your customers then e-junkie is the perfect solution.

DealDotCom, That Was Nice Whilst It Lasted!

September 22nd, 2007 1 Comments

As you might have noticed I’ve been happy to big-up DealDotCom, as I stated earlier in the week they got of to a great start with a couple of quality products, one of which even I bought (And I’m a tough man to please). So it was with a sense of guttedness (is that even a word?) that I logged in this morning to find todays deal of the day being…………a dodgy e-book! Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! You know the type, it’s an e-book that will make you mega rich, even better it comes with not just resale rights, but master resale rights. How am I supposed to contain this excitement? Quite easily as it turns out. I’ve been suckered into buying e-books in the past with the inevitable gimmick being that you can then sell the same book onto to any potential suckers customers. I really had high hopes for Deal Dot com but if they’re selling this sort of rubbish in the first week then good luck to them, i’ll still check in from time to time but this is the last time I’ll be mentioning them here unless then do come out with a really remarkable offer. Yes I am fickle.

Just in case you are wondering there is only one e-book I’ve ever bought that has been worth the money and that’s the SEO Book.

SEO Book Reviewed By A SEO Consultant

September 17th, 2007 5 Comments

I’ve known about the SEO Book for a long time, in fact I use the keyword research tool found on the same website on a regular basis. I guess I’ve been put of buying it in the past for a couple of reasons:-

  1. As a paid SEO consultant how much can it really teach me?
  2. Nearly $80 is expensive for any book, let alone an e-book

Faced with a hangover from hell on a miserable Sunday afternoon I decided that a little bit of light reading would be just the order of the day so it was Paypal account to the ready and away we go. Was I impressed, hell yeah!

First, Middle and Last Impressions

I can’t really say this is my first impression because once I’d started I couldn’t stop and I spent 4 hours reading all 331 pages of it in one go! In short it’s brilliant. This is not an e-book written by a professional writer but instead by somebody who obviously knows the ins and outs of SEO, as it stands today. Aaron claims to be earning consultancy fees of $500 an hour, judging by this book it’s no wonder. The great thing is the no nonsense approach to SEO, every consultant worth his or her salt will tell you that for most businesses SEO is a long term process, it’s certainly not a sprint. Of course you can attempt to game the search engines, some much easier than others (Aaron isn’t afraid to let you know where spammy techniques really work) but on the flip side there’s also the good chance that a short term game in one engine will result in long term difficulties with others. This is brutally honest information. You will not find any guaranteed top 3 rankings in 5 days nonsense in this book. It’s all very informative and perhaps even more importantly is current, reading this book for me was like finding a kindred spirit in the world of SEO. It confirmed the knowledge that I thought I knew giving me the extra confidence to just carry on what I’ve been doing for several years now.

Perhaps the most informative part of the book for me was Aarons grasp of page rank, link love, website relationships, whatever you want to call it. You want to know how the search engines really relate one page to another then it’s all here. For even experienced pro’s a thorough read of this section will no doubt either reaffirm your current ideas or perhaps teach you something new. Something else that jumped out at me that I wasn’t expecting is the gold mine of links contained within the book. Everything from useful SEO tools to extra sources of information are all featured at the end of each chapter, no doubt at all there is enough information to keep anybody busy for several days. All of a sudden the $79 price tag is not looking too bad! This only scratches the surface of all the content that the book contains, it’s your all-in-one guide.

So my $79 bought me a book that should really be considered an ultimate guide to legitimate SEO, not only that but some nice extras in the form of interviews with other SEO experts and a couple of tools that Aaron uses. I already have my own favorites but anybody showing a new interest in SEO will find these valuable. When the world of SEO changes again so will the SEO Book and it’s free updates for life. As if this wasn’t good enough there is a 90 day no worries money back guarantee in place. I can hand on heart say that I’ll not be taking advantage of that, I’m more than happy to have paid $79 for the SEO Book
