These are the various resources that I deem to have helped me most when it comes to making money online. Some of these I have written myself, others are from 3rd parties. Where there is a cost associated with using a resource I only include it if I consider the resource offers excellent value for money.
Link Demon – WordPress Internal Link Building Plugin
Born out of frustration and laziness. Every singly blogging course and document I have read makes a point of the importance of internally linking your blog posts. In Google’s eyes in context, 1 way links are the most important. With WordPress the only way of achieving this is each time you write a new post to go back and look at your old posts and manually link relevant terms. It’s a giant pain in the ass and soon gets boring. What the Link Demon plug-in does is allow you to specify a series of link texts for each post (of significance) you write. From then on any time that (exact, case sensitive) link text is used in any post it will automatically link back. You will end up with your posts interlinked (from within the post content) using various linking terms. It’s simply boosting the internal linking structure of your WordPress blog.
Please keep in mind that this is my first attempt at a WordPress plug-in so it will be a bit rough around the edges. It certainly won’t win any prizes for programming elegance. In the 2 months I did hard testing of it though I managed to significantly increase my organic search traffic. I simply went back through some of my better old posts and added links – the search traffic and status of those posts was increased within a couple of weeks. I can’t guarantee that you or anybody will have the same benefits but internal linking is a well cited factor in the ranking algorithms of the major search engines.

ConnectContent – Gain High Value One Way Links
Doing a Google search will reveal a huge number of services promising you one thing – high quality one way links for your web pages. I’ve tried many, some costing hundreds of dollars a month and up until I discovered ConnectContent every one disappointed at best, delivered nothing at all at worst.
ConnectContent is a simple website that allows you to advertise your content to other webmasters. If a webmaster likes the look of your content he will link to it, in context, one way from one of their articles. In return you should look at the list of other webmasters content and if you have relevant content, link to it. This is not a link exchange system, all members are kept anonymous and there is no incentive to link to somebody for linking to you. There is no need to link out in order to gain links in, that’s not how it works. However being active in the ConnectContent system/community is really important as it’s the quality of the membership the makes this system work so much better than others.
The cost of using ConnectContent, is only $12 a month – this fee is paid to support the website the the author who has written the system from the ground up. You DO NOT pay for links with the ConnectContent system, with this in mind there are no guarantees as to the number of links you will receive. It is to date the only service (no matter what the cost) that I would recommend to help with gaining high quality one way links.
