I did a one year review of adsense verses AdBrite and screenshot my networth.

Adbrite always had “advertise here” and never ever no matter what I changed, was the content even remotely related.. granny supplies on a video game site. date a russian chick stuff on an employment site.
Adsenese it’s all we have.
but don’t let the adsense people know that. They will just decrease the pay out a tad more… because they can.

On my website http://futuretwits.blogspot.com I’ve been using Kontera for about a month now with some pretty poor results. Granted, it’s a blogspot blog, so I’m not expecting miracles. Still, 1.5K page impressions have only generated about 3 cents.

I have added AdBrite inline ads on my site. The major problem I found is many times there is no ads. It just shows advertise on this site and that is really annoying. I never tried Kontera.

I agree till now google adsense is the high paying system.We publishers really need a competitor for google adsense.

I’ve tried Adsense, Chitika, WidgetBucks (for a while), Kontera. Nothing can compare with Adsense so far. Kontera sucks too. If Adsense comes up with incontent ads, I’ll definitely go for it.

You’re an idiot if you use any of those in-text advertising companies. They are annoying and hardly ever even relevant. You will just lose traffic. Those companies will go under once everyone incorporates host file editors into /Virus/Spyware apps.

I use AdBrite personally. I do get payment constantly based on the threshold $ you have set. Since I live in the US, US Check is no problem for me. The only problem is low CPC. I wish Adsense can do inlink text advertise too.

AdBrite_no_payment, I have had nothing but good experiences with AdBrite (hope that doesn’t jinx me). You should try calling or emailing them to resolve the matter. Are you sure that you didn’t accidentally click on one of your ads? That just sounds so out of character of the folks at AdBrite. And, yes, I’ve received payment multiple times.

im AdBrite publisher member.
but im not do any ads, only do Referral Program.
they are no payment for my earning totaly $2560
they say i do some click on advertiser banner.
but my account no have any ads or im no Create any ads zone.
i send a many email to ask them way . by they no reply.
last week they close my account, no i can’t login my account

Hi Vered and thanks for dropping by. Glad you enjoyed the review, I only tell it as I see it and as things stand I see Kontera as the better option.

Not that Kontera is perfect by any means, if you could speed up the load time a bit and maybe not allow very low advertiser bids on general none subject related words (or give us a way of blocking them) I’d be happier still!

CPC isn’t a fixed rate. It varies from one advertising campaign to the next and depends on a variety of factors the main of which being advertisers’ specifications and website traffic volume and sources. Online advertising, as you rightfully pointed out, is a very dynamic market, and therefore changes in the industry influence publisher revenues.
