A little while back I changed the style of this blog from a traditional personal blog which had several full posts on the home page in date order to a more funked up magazine style. The new template eliminates much of the duplicate content problems that are associated with Word Press blogs but that wasn’t the real reason for changing. To be honest I decided to change because I was slowing down on the number of posts I was making and having multiple snippets on the home page covers this up better.
The problem is that over the last few months this blog hasn’t grown anything like as fast as I’d like. People come and go and it had always been a slight upward trend but it’s just not the same as it was. I wonder if this is because it now feels less personal? I’ve stuttered and spluttered over the 100 RSS subscriber mark but I’d really like to get back on track. I’m still going to try and stick to only posting when I’ve got something good to say but I guess I should do now what I should have done back then, and that’s ask you how you’d like things to look around here? I know my wife doesn’t like the small snippets on the home page so I figured there can’t be any harm in asking, right?
