About the only long lasting affect of my experiments with ping-back linking has been that I have completely lost the ability to comment on other people’s blogs. Any mention of themakemoneyonline.net domain and the comment is caught by Akismet. So how do I get of the blacklist?
For the first time in a long while I went through my Akismet caught spam comments today and just to show how bad it is, even when I link to my own previous posts the track back gets caught as spam! I know that when I comment (not for any gain, just cos I like to have an opinion) on all the regular blogs I comment on each comment now has to be manually approved. It means that most never show up, I’m wasting my time trying to join in. If you’re like me you probably don’t check your spam list that often.
My question is this, is there anyway of applying to get yourself removed from the black list that Akismet uses? And secondly has anybody successfully done it? I’m not at all fussed about top commenting and all that bumf, I’d just like my voice to be heard again!
ps Yes I did just have to go in and approve the ping back link to my post on the ping-back strategy, grrrrrr!!!

I just found that i am on the blacklist also. I havent been able to comment on blogs for the past week but thought it was a problem with my laptop. Im now gonna see if i can get off it!
