I'm been using Authorstream for my Powerpoint files, PDFcast, Slideshare and scribed for everything else. I've noticed that Authorstream gets indexed immediately and did rank very high, in some cases higher than my website that I linked to! It seems to have gone down a bit now, Authorstream has too many low quality spammy presentations, but is still good. I also get quite a bit of traffic to my website for it.
