Wouldn’t it be great if you could make some money from the current craze for URL shortening? Imagine if every time somebody clicked on one of your shortened URLs you made money? It would be great and it is possible thanks to the Adf.ly service, I’ve only just started using it but it looks like it could be a decent little service.
Like I said I’ve been away on holiday recently, it’s brilliant to recharge the batteries from time to time and there’s no better way of doing that than getting away from it all. I say getting away from it but when you work for yourself there’s only so much of “it” you can afford to get away from. So this time I packed up my trusty but hated Macbook and took it with me. The truth is I’ve probably written more new content in the last 2 weeks than I have in 2 months at home, it’s simply a case of a lack of distractions.
Linx Boss continues to impress, my $147 a month investment has now grown and I’m paying for an extended 10 website membership. As part of the expansion I added a friends real estate website – just to see how Linx Boss managed in such a massively competitive environment (I don’t have a real estate website of my own to test with). The results speak for themselves.
The figures associated with online shopping are huge, even better they only ever seem to get bigger as more and more people switch to online when it comes to buying everyday objects (In the UK alone over £560 million is spent each WEEK on online retail). In the world of affiliate marketing where there is so much bullshit in the form of dodgy offers and pre-pop rebills etc it’s also good for the soul to promote real life tangible products. If you’re looking long term then I’d be much happier betting that online shopping will still be around and stronger 5/10 years down the line. I’m not so sure about make money online frauducts or shaky poker websites that seem to operate on a whim and a prayer. This is why a while back I made promoting real life products my priority and I think I’ve now got enough experience to offer decent tips.
It’s very hard for me to even begin to explain just how much hard work and time has gone into this but at last I’m starting to get there! Not blips here and there, not good one day bad the next, but good consistent traffic growth. Amen to that.
In the past week I’ve noticed both the PR rankings and traffic to the half a dozen Blogger blogs I run crash. These are not junk blogs, in fact one is my main personal blog that sits in a great neighbourhood. Is this the end of Blogger blogs then?
And then just when everybody thought that Google search was starting to settle down again we now have something new to deal with. Has anybody else noticed an increase in their number of search impressions but a decrease in the number of clicks? You’re going to love this one!
