Why is it that there are some things that I’ve setup that can just tick along nicely in the background making money day after day? They don’t require babysitting, nor effort other than the odd bit of content and they happily take care of themselves.
On the other hand there are other projects that no matter how I manage them turn into a cluster**** of support. Why oh why oh why? Things that I’ve written for myself, given away for free (out of the goodness of my heart) or next to free but yet still I have to face a regular bombardment of crappy e-mails. I don’t mean crappy because it’s people having a problem, I enjoy helping genuine people, I mean crappy because they are rude, obnoxious with absolutely no understanding of how to ask for help. Three again this morning, for something I’m giving away for FREE. They haven’t even bothered to read the FAQ or even try to use the program, instead preferring to spew crap in my direction. Worst of all 2 of them are running their own businesses and want to use my free stuff to save them money. You’d THINK that being polite in that situation would go without saying? Not a chance.
There are people who will tell you that having your own products to sell is where it’s at. To them I laugh. I’d rather take a cut as an affiliate without having to deal with the crappy e-mails any day of the week. I can’t wait for the day when I can do away with having my own products.

It would be nice to have a filter in place that could eliminate pesky humans, hey! Sometimes no good deed goes unpunished, and human nature will just never cease to amaze me!
