I'd definitely consider this, and actually have a couple of products that I may well release fairly soon. I think part of the appeal here for me is that I've never released a product for sale before, so at least if the "buyer" is essentially getting it for nothing then I wouldn't be under as much pressure to get everything right on my first go, but still get something back for my efforts.
